I am a big fan of The Office. Michael, Jim, Pam, Dwight… they thoroughly entertain me every Thursday night. Michael isn’t known for his stunning wisdom, but last week there was an exchange between Michael and his boss David that deserves to be shared:
David Wallace: I’ll fax over some of the things we’re looking for, ok?
Michael Scott: Fax? Why don’t you just send it over on a dinosaur?
David Wallace: Look, this is important, Michael.
Michael Scott: Oh. Well then email it, David.
We long ago switched to electronic fax that sends documents as PDFs and puts incoming faxes into our email inbox. But I know that there are a lot of health insurance companies that we work with in Colorado that still fax all sorts of documents. And I gotta say – Michael makes a very good point.
