Health policy insight to kick off 2016

January 14, 2016 By Louise Norris

Hank Stern did an excellent job with the first 2016 edition of the Health Wonk Review. Be sure to check it out if you’re looking for some great thinking on health policy. Here are some of my favorites in this edition:

  • Six health care trends to watch in 2016. Excellent Health Affairs article from Susan DeVore Health Affairs.
  • Wendell Potter’s analysis of the “Faulty Five” proposals from GOP presidential candidates for replacing Obamacare.
  • Joe Paduda’s concise analysis of how the ACA is doing so far – on enrollment, and on costs.
  • Should doctors unionize? Brad Flansbaum details the pros and cons.

There’s plenty of other good reading in this New Year’s edition of the Health Wonk Review. Many thanks to Hank for the excellent round-up!
